The Ingwe option for students is only available for full time students earning less than R 775 per month

We recommend that if your dependants (spouse or child) study in SA on a study permit, they should apply on their own Ingwe plan as the principal member.

Should your dependants not be studying in SA, we recommend that your family join on their own plan.  They need to complete an individual member application form in full as their membership is subject to underwriting.  Kindly note waiting periods and late joiner penalties may be imposed.

We may also request a declaration of income form to be completed as you need to demonstrate monthly income of less than R 775 to qualify for the lowest contribution level on the Ingwe option.
